It tells me it can not clone because there was a read error on a sector. What I have done so far is: 1.- Did an Error checking of the hard drive via Windows Tool to check drive for errors.

What I would do is not clone the partition/drive in question.but make a backup instead. If chkdsk /r cannot reclaim the data from bad sectors, it seems to me that the best thing to do would be make a backup.delete existing install and do a clean install (which will eliminate the bad sectors on the new partition).and restore the backup.
